Since I was a kid I always wanted to be a firefighter and thought becoming a volunteer firefighter would be a great opportunity to serve my community. -Cpt. Kyle Knapp

I volunteered for YCFD#6 because I live in the Gleed District and wanted to give back to my community. I see neighbors everyday and wanted to help them if they are in need.

I wanted to help others in the time of need, serve the community, protect the vulnerable and be part of something greater.
